ride the ferry to bainbridge island. check.
it's baaaaaack. the
seattle list of fabulous fun was resurrected this past weekend. i never got through the list before i graduated and ended up filing it away in my wallet for the last six months. well, when i decided i was going to head up to seattle for new year's eve, i knew i had to break out the list again. it was a little crinkled. a little crumpled. but mostly still in one piece.
my weekend in seattle was going to be the perfect opportunity to cross off a few items. or so i thought. it turns out basically every tourist-y attraction in seattle was closed for the new year holiday. even pike place market. meh. luckily, the ferry runs 365 days a year. thank you, wsdot.
the ride to and from bainbridge island was a blast. the weather was absolute fabulous. sunshine and blue skies and a refreshing breeze. the perfect way to start out the year 2012.
