i feel like the world needs to see this. geeze, overachiever, save some talent for the rest of us.

not my passport. {one.}

i've spent more time than i care to share searching for my passport these last few days. alas, it's currently still m.i.a.

i think my cat may of ate it. or something.

the good news: i came across some really interesting artifacts during my hunt. unfortunately, none of which will help me get to canada in less than one month. {which is why i'm super glad the u.s. department of state offers an expedited application process.}

without further ado, here's part one of a photographic series documenting items that i found that are not, in fact, my passport. but are almost as cool.

city mouse - country mouse.

evening drives on backcountry roads. {sigh.} i belong in the city, but i can't seem to get over that winding pavement. the fog that settles into the sleepy green valleys. the weathered barns and old wooden fences.

honey, lipstick makes everything better. it's the cure-all for lots of things, including terrential rain, ear infection and general schlumpiness. yes, i rocked barbie pink lipstick AND sweatpants this weekend.
