things i did last weekend, part 2.

hmmm, where did that sunshine go? saw the hunger games - not the midnight premiere, though. downloaded the "draw something" app, became addicted for .25 seconds, got creeped out by the randos i was playing against, then forgot all about it. typical. fantastic chats with fabulous friends near and far...thank goodness for the telephone. more sleeping in. laundry. bleghhhh. mommy/daughters date to see the musical wicked. {which was amahzing.} theo chocolate. um, yum. more saved by the bell.

sigh. perfect weekend.

also, it's already wednesday. which means - we're already halfway through the week! what the whattttt?!?!

{"and may the odds be ever in your favor." nerd ALERT.}

{wicked!}

{one short day in the emerald city.}

things i did last weekend, part 1.

sunshine, sunshine, SUNSHINE. went to the cardiologist* and was told my heart is "so pretty" and "photogenic." who knew an echocardiogram was such an ego-booster? ha. little sis came home for spring break. yippee! hard core trader joe's grocery shopping. little kid snacks and fresh produce? check! cocktails and old high school dance team videos with two of my best friends. saved by the bell marathon. sleeping in way too late...

{very blurry picture of a very yummy snack. also, probably not targeted at 20-somethings. but, what can i say? when you work as a nanny, you find yourself getting food recommendations from five-year-olds.}

{from this...}

{to this!}
*don't fear, friends. i'm not dying. i just happen to have a slightly leaky heart. which basically means i get an extra doctor visit thrown in every ten years or so. stellar.

sunday song of the day: lady antebellum.

yes, i listen to country. i've sort of had an on again, off again relationship with this genre of music over the years. currently i'm loving it—especially since it reminds me of summer. and sunshine. wishful thinking, much?

on wednesday my lovely little sister and her bestie (affectionately known as my bffl) are going to see lady a in concert. this girl is just a little bit jealous.
