pesto is the besto.

ha. see what i did there? 

obsession with my immersion blender + loads o' fresh basil = homemade pesto. 

{the cast of characters: parmigiano reggiano, pine nuts, garlic, olive oil and basil.}

{a rough dice will do.}

{garlic. to keep the vampires away.}

{pine nuts. walnuts will also work.}

{pulse with a food processor....or a handy dandy immersion blender
with a chop/grind attachment.}

{lots of basil & olive oil.}

{pepper & sea salt. and parmigiano reggiano. and more pine nuts.}
