the smell of homemade pumpkin pie baking in the oven. watching the leaves change colors. being lulled to sleep by the pitter patter of raindrops. cozy sweaters, scarves, & gloves. college football games. cool, crisp air. driving through the countryside accompanied only by the sounds of coldplay. gaining an hour of sleep, courtesy of daylight savings time. fresh pomegranate. scented candles. warm blankets & a cuddly cat. the return of the fall season of tv shows. hot apple cider. hot tea with honey. hot chocolate with extra marshmallows. holiday decorations & window displays.

life in a day.

several months ago i posted about an amazing upcoming film. one that explores the idiosyncrasies of humanity. the ordinary and extraordinary of a 24-hour period around the world. a global collaboration three years in the making.

today, i stumbled across a trailer for a feature-length documentary with a similar vision. originally debuting at the sundance film festival in january, this film was released in theaters this past summer. i would love love love to see it on the big screen.

today i told multiple people, "happy monday." just now realized it's tuesday. {oops.} all confusion aside, i'm absolutely loving this november weather. sunshine, blue skies, & brisk autumn air. definitely time to break out the scarves & gloves.

other november essentials: hot tea, boots, honeycrisp apples, scented candles, cozy blankets, & bon iver on repeat.
