aftermath.
my thoughts and prayers go out to japan, as it deals with the widespread destruction left behind after yesterday's earthquake and tsunami. the amount of devastation, especially in sendai, miyagi prefecture, is absolutely harrowing. thankfully, my relatives in japan appear to be ok. unfortunately, this is not the case for many families.
